Heaven Is For Soul Winners

The first soul winner was sent from heaven.  “The Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”  Revelation1:8.  “How great the sympathy that Christ expressed in coming to this world to give His life a sacrifice for a dying world!  His religion led to the doing of genuine medical missionary work.  He was a healing power.  “I will have mercy, and not sacrifice,’ He said. This is the test that the great Author of truth used to distinguish between true religion and false.  God wants His medical missionaries to act with the tenderness and compassion that Christ would show were He in our world." Medical Ministry, page. 251, (see Matthew 9:35,36). 

“The world must have an antidote for sin.  As the medical missionary works intelligently to relieve suffering and save life, hearts are softened.  Those who are helped are filled with gratitude.  As the medical missionary works upon the body, God works upon the heart.”  Manuscript 58, 1901  “All of heaven is filled with joy when one soul is won for the kingdom of God.” Luke 15:6,7.

The Angel flying in the midst of heaven represents men and women who have the Spirit of Heaven in their lives that sense the urgency of the times and labor unselfishly to build up the kingdom of God, they are Heaven’s soul winners. Revelation 14: 6. These are the wise, for the word of God declares, The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he that winneth soul is wise.” Proverbs 11:30.

“These wise soul winners will shine as the a brightness of the firmament and they will turn many to righteousness.” Daniel 12:3 .  This is indeed the Three Angels’ Message that swells into the Loud Cry that fills the earth with the glory of God.  Revelation 14; 18:1.

Isaiah exclaims, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!  Chp. 52:  7.

If every soldier of Christ had done his duty, if every watchman on the walls of Zion had give the trumpet a certain sound, the world might ere this have heard the message of warning (Revelation 14:6-12).  But the work is years behind.  While men have slept, Satan has stolen a march on us.

Heaven Is For Soul Winners—It is the Christian’s business to shine.  The professed follower of Christ is not fulfilling the requirements of the gospel unless he is ministering to others.  He is never to forget that he is to let his light shine before men that they, seeing his good works, may glorify their father which is in heaven.”  Publishing Ministry, p 285

There will be a blessed commendation, a holy benediction, on the faithful winners of souls.  They will join the rejoicing ones in heaven, who shout the harvest home.  How will be the joy when the redeemed of the Lord shall meet, gathered into the mansions prepared for them!   Oh, what rejoicing for all who have been impartial, unselfish laborers together with God in carrying forward His work in the earth!  What satisfaction will every reaper have when the clear, musical voice of Jesus shall be heard, saying, “Come, ye blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you   from the foundation of the world.” Medical Ministry, p 134
